lathe tools to help the do-it-yourself machinist make
limited quantities of screw machine products. When a

make them yourself without breaking the bank.
Fabricating turned parts is a rewarding experience,
but after making two or three, tedium sets in and
interest in the overall project begins to wane. Soon
your project is shelved for lack of parts.
This problem can be solved with the use of a tailstock
or be turret and a couple of cross slide tools. A
tailstock turret, fitted with simple tools, will allow
repetitive operations with a flick of the wrist and a pull
on the handle. After a short setup period, any number
of parts can be produced.
